Crying Paw and Mr. Vinnie collided approaching the home turn, checking Crying Paw, Nana Denise and Bullet Proof Ace. Nana Denise and Bullet Proof Ace collided on the home turn. Double Birdy and Too Easy Jack collided entering the home straight. 

Too Easy Jack was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration and bruising to the left hind leg. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Crymelon You Cro was quick to begin. Twilight Shae was slow to begin.

All Inn Handles, Little Red Hot and Gray Grey Goose collided soon after the start, checking Little Red Hot. All Inn Handles and Pure Lace collided on the first turn, checking All Inn Handles. Crymelon You Cro and Pure Lace collided on the first turn, checking Pure Lace, Little Red Hot and Twilight Shae. Twilight Shae and Pure Lace collided entering the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Midnight Bling. 

Atomic Icon was slow to begin. 

Kraken Spike, Janray Lucky One and Midnight Waltz collided soon after the start, checking Janray Lucky One. Kraken Spike and Midnight Waltz collided several times on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Atomic Icon, Swahili Icon and Midnight Bling collided on the first turn, checking Swahili Icon. Atomic Icon and Midnight Bling collided approaching the home turn and again in the home straight, checking both greyhounds. 

Damnation was slow to begin.

Kid Ringo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained bruising over the lumbar and left thigh. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Savannah Icon was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the right triangle muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stylish Bree was very slow to begin (3 Lengths).

Tat Tubby, Liscoyle Lass and Argyle Lucifer collided soon after the start, checking Tat Tubby and Liscoyle Lass. Tat Tubby, Liscoyle Lass and El Donberto collided on the first turn, checking Tat Tubby and Liscoyle Lass. El Donberto checked off Argyle Lucifer on the home turn. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Phillip Clarke regarding the direction that the greyhound El Donberto be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Carter, the trainer of Freddy Perfect, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Freddy Perfect last raced on 2/8/18. Mr. Carter stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a hip injury. Mr. Carter also declared a new weight of 36.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Freddy Perfect last raced at 34.6kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Tiggerlong Zorro.

Tiggerlong Zorro, Slingshot Storm, Freddy Perfect and Moon Phase collided on the first turn, checking Slingshot Storm and Freddy Perfect and severely checking Tiggerlong Zorro. Moon Phase checked off Rave On on the home turn. Tiempo Dinero checked off Moon Phase on the home turn. \

Slingshot Storm was vetted at the request of the trainer. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Vanda Mick and Some Spark collided soon after the start, checking Some Spark. Krupa and Ice Cold Yug collided on the first turn, checking Krupa. Tat Scooby, Vanda Mick and Hoo Gur Affair collided on the first turn, checking Tat Scooby and Vanda Mick. Krupa and Ice Cold Yug collided approaching the home turn. Ice Cold Yug and Hoo Gur Affair collided in the home straight.

Emgee Sprinter was slow to begin. 

Golden Shiraz, Rocket Jax, Go Pies and Jerra Lilly collided on the first turn, checking Golden Shiraz and severely checking Rocket Jax and Go Pies. Jerra Lilly, Lightning Seven and Our Flying Kenny collided on the first turn, severely checking Lightning Seven and Our Flying Kenny. Lightning Seven was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained swelling over the left lumbar muscle. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. After viewing the video footage, stewards were satisfied that Lightning Seven shifted out on the first turn as a result of colliding with Our Flying Kenny, and as such no action was taken against the greyhound's racing manners.

Scott To Give and Hail Galo Girl collided soon after the start. Shifter Magic and Zade's Magic collided on the first turn, checking Shifter Magic and Scott To Give. 

Clovalley Mansumi was a late scratching at 8.36am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer G. Connell was fined the sum of $100.

Pay Day Brian, Troy Boyce and Macs Model collided on the first turn, checking Pay Day Brian and Troy Boyce. Pay Day Brian checked off Emily Skye on the first turn and collided with Troy Boyce; Pay Day Brian fell as a result and Troy Boyce was severely checked and subsequently tailed off. Sycamore Lou Lou faltered approaching the winning post. 

Pay Day Brian was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right wrist and soreness to the left hind leg. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Sycamore Lou Lou was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left chest muscle and spike wound to the left hind leg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
