Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr S Creighton, the trainer of Star Night regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Star Night last raced on 20 August 2018. Mr Creighton stated that the greyhound suffered an injury to its left stopper bone. Mr S Creighton, trainer of Star Night declared a new weight of 34.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Star Night last raced at 33.3kg.
Let's Go Joe went up with the lids at box rise.
Midnight Tess, Star Night and Psycho Millie collided soon after the start. Premier Back and Psycho Millie collided at the 150m mark. Let's Go Joe faltered at the 150m mark.
Let's Go Joe was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left monkey muscle and the right quadricep, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
