Bushranger Boy was vetted and after being re-vetted following Race 4, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right pencil muscle and a left wrist sprain, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Jargon Jimmy went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.

Toonang crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Superior Hunter, Tears In Eyes and Auzzie Affair. Auzzie Affair and Tears In Eyes collided at the 250m mark. Jargon Jimmy and Big Unit collided at the 150m mark. Super Fay and Auzzie Affair collided several times from the 150m mark to the 100m mark. Tex Burger galloped on the heels of Tears In Eyes approaching the winning post causing Tex Burger to stumble. Superior Hunter crossed to the rails approaching the winning post causing Toonang to check off Superior Hunter; Toonang collided with Auzzie Affair as a result.

Toonang was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Tex Burger was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left wrist sprain, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr S Creighton, the trainer of Star Night regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Star Night last raced on 20 August 2018. Mr Creighton stated that the greyhound suffered an injury to its left stopper bone. Mr S Creighton, trainer of Star Night declared a new weight of 34.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Star Night last raced at 33.3kg.

Let's Go Joe went up with the lids at box rise.

Midnight Tess, Star Night and Psycho Millie collided soon after the start. Premier Back and Psycho Millie collided at the 150m mark. Let's Go Joe faltered at the 150m mark.

Let's Go Joe was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left monkey muscle and the right quadricep, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Sin And Spin was quick to begin.

Bring The Spring and Cullquin Panda were slow to begin.

Gotta Jump Start and Cullquin Panda collided several times from soon after the start to the 200m mark. Sin And Spin, Kissem and Shirdale Tom collided approaching the 250m mark. Bring The Spring, Sin And Spin, Kissem and Shirdale Tom collided at the 200m mark checking Bring The Spring and Kissem. Sin And Spin and Ruby's Boy collided at the 200m mark. Cullquin Panda crossed to the inside at the 150m mark. Bring The Spring and Cee Me Ignite collided at the 50m mark.

Lilty Allen and Master Winslow were slow to begin.

Lilty Allen checked off Hot Fiasco at the 300m mark and collided with Master Winslow. Rhomboid and Where's Lola collided at the 100m mark checking Where's Lola.

Sideshow Marjen and Jet Blaster were slow to begin. Lottie Biscotti, Two Seasons and Keep Talking collided soon after the start. Keep Talking and Superior Scotch collided approaching the 300m mark checking Lottie Biscotti, Two Seasons and Keep Talking. Sideshow Marjen and Superior Scotch collided at the 250m mark.

A sample was taken from Eye Got It - the winner of the event. Eye Got It recorded a track record of 18.68.

High Tale and Unexplainable collided soon after the start checking High Tale. Hungry Heart, Zipping Amber and Piriformis collided at the 300m mark. Cee Me Entertain and High Tale collided several times approaching the 250m mark. High Tale checked off Unexplainable at the 150m mark.

Gotta Bandit checked off Wait There soon after the start. Peter Galo faltered at the 300m mark and collided with Gotta Bandit and Wait There, subsequently Peter Galo was tailed off. Cullquin Bomber, Gotta Bandit and Wait There collided at the 250m mark. Gotta Bandit and Wait There collided at the 150m mark severely checking Gotta Bandit.

Peter Galo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right monkey muscle and right pencil muscle, a 60 day stand down period was imposed. 

Supraspinatus and Superior Indi were quick to begin.

Pierce Bale and Supraspinatus collided soon after the start. Supraspinatus and Gee Dalton collided at the 300m mark. Superior Beam and Tough Love collided at the 150m mark. Etiquette faltered at the 150m mark. Supraspinatus and Gee Dalton collided at the 100m mark.

Etiquette was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left pencil muscle and the left side lower back, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Ms K Collyer, trainer of Monkey Mite, declared a new weight of 27.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Monkey Mite last raced at 26.8kg.

Samba King and Anndar Amoree were slow to begin.

Bees On Fire and Monkey Mite collided several times from the 300m mark to the 250m mark. Dashing Pace checked off Anndar Amoree at the 250m mark.

Stewards spoke to Mr J Formosa, the handler of Lunar Shadow regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Lunar Shadow last raced on 12 August 2018. Mr Formosa stated that the greyhound had suffered an injury to its right hock. 

Zero Five and Bloke's Advice collided soon after the start.

Stewards spoke to Mr M Davison, the trainer of Starface regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Starface last raced on 31 August 2018.Mr Davison stated that the greyhound had suffered an injury to its right back muscle.

Star Hennessy was slow to begin.

Bill Heeny and Boopa Doop Girl collided soon after the start and again at the 250m mark. Spud's Mate and Lara Croft collided at the 250m mark.
