Steward's Report
The start of this race was delayed by approximately six minutes to allow remedial work to be completed on the lure.
Stewards declared the event a No Race in accordance with GAR 56 (1) due to a lure malfunction approaching the first turn. All recorded weights were removed from the weight cards in accordance with GAR 38 (12).
Bob's Brew was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the left foreleg, a 3 day standdown period was imposed.
All other greyhounds were examined by the club veterinary surgeon, with no apparent injuries found.
No orders for exemption from a ballot were made by Stewards in accordance with GAR 57(2)(a). The random draw of the qualified runners is as follows:

4. Wok Fried Yabby
Please be advised that due to an error in loading of the 'random draw' (GAR 57(2)(b) for qualified runners from Race 5 - GRV Vic Bred (1-4 Wins) Heat 1 485m, the automatic box draw event as recorded on FastTrack is deemed invalid, and will now be manually drawn in accordance with GAR 22(7)(b) Wednesday 12th December at the GRV office.
The amended box draw will then be corrected accordingly. GRV apologises for the error.
