A pre race sample was taken from Major Amor.
Icarus was slow to begin. Ballet Creek was very slow to begin (2L).
Bomber Creek and Dat Dat Daty collided soon after the start. Major Amor and Bomber Creek collided on the first turn checking Major Amor and Icarus.
Stewards charged Mr. G. Kenna with a breach of GAR 46(2) in that he failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound Ballet Creek for its engagement..
Mr Kenna pleaded guilty to the charge, and was fined the sum of $100.
