Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr A.Setford, the trainer of Rurik regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Rurik last raced on 31 August 2018. Mr Setford stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following an extended spell.
A pre race sample was taken from Di Canio.
Both Brother Griff and Luna Evening stumbled at box rise.
Di Canio, Manila Kampyon and Zambora Cash collided soon after the start. Manila Kampyon checked off Zambora Cash approaching the first turn. Chasing James checked off Ringcraft on the first turn and collided with Rurik and Manila Kampyon. Brother Griff and Manila Kampyon collided approaching the home turn.
Brother Griff was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Luna Evening was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
