Stewards spoke to Mr K. Chivell, the trainer of Public Life regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Public Life last raced on 17 June, 2018. Mr Chivell stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a change in kennels.

Mareth and What Feeling collided soon after the start. Public Life and Miss Cheekiness collided soon after the start. Queen's Grace, Don's Queen and Goofey Express collided soon after the start. Queen's Grace and Goofey Express  collided at the 250m mark. Mareth and Sylo collided at the 250m mark checking Public Life. Queen's Grace and Don's Queen collided several times between the 250m mark and the 200m mark. Don's Queen and Goofey Express collided at the 150m mark. Sylo checked off Mareth approaching the 100m mark. Miss Cheekiness crossed in approaching the 50m mark and collided with Public Life several times approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.

Cash Or Card was quick to begin. Superior Chase was slow to begin. Courage Quest and Chloe Crumpet collided soon after the start. Alonso Power crossed in approaching the 200m mark and collided with Superior Chase. Superior Chase and Flash Frankie collided approaching the 200m mark. Lanis Morris and Cash Or Card collided at the 200m mark. Superior Chase crossed out at the 200m mark. Lightning Parade and Lanis Morris collided at the 200m mark. Lanis Morris, Lightning Parade and Chloe Crumpet collided approaching the 150m mark. Courage Crest, Chloe Crumpet and Lanis Morris collided at the 150m mark severely checking Lightning Parade. Chloe Crumpet and Alonso Power collided approaching the 100m mark. Cash Or Card and Lanis Morris colllided approaching the 50m mark. Chloe Crumpet and Lightning Parade collided at the 50m mark.

Stewards conducted an Inquiry into the circumstances in which greyhound Flash Frankie was not caught in this event.  After taking evidence from licensed Trainer, Mr Daniel Despard, licensed attendent, Mr S. Spence and licensed Catchers - Mr Luke Bransen and Ms Tyler Cornell, Stewards issued a warning and reminded both Mr Bransen and Ms Tyler of their responsibilities that when accepting catching engagements that they ensure these engagements are fulfilled pursuant to GAR 48.  Stewards accepted the explanation of Messrs Despard and Spence as he had made the appropriate arrangement to have Flash Frankie caught.

Guevara went up with the box lids and was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Run Maggie Run and Bags Of Bucks collided soon after the start. Arachnophobia, Cool Punter and Western Bomber collided soon after the start. Western Bomber and Cool Punter collided several times from the 300m mark to the 250m mark. Merl's Michu and Run Maggie run collided at the 200m mark. Run Maggie Run and Bags Of Bucks collided at the 150m mark. Jaggered Stone checked off Merl's Michu at the 150m mark. Guevara and Cool Punter collided at the 150m mark.

Samba King and Rube's Ablaze were quick to begin. Dewana Result was slow to begin. All Inn Houston and Dashing Dino collided soon after the start. Dashing Dino checked off All Inn Houston at the 300m mark. Lucky Omar crossed to the outside at the 150m mark. Samba King and Rube's Ablaze collided at the 100m mark. Dontron and Rube's Ablaze collided approaching the winning post. 

Tamile Lass was quick to begin. Tinker Bess, Sarah Smirnoff and Prince Mikado were slow to begin. Tamile Lass crossed in approaching the 300m colliding with Irinka Jenna and El Grand Richo checking Irinka Jenna. Lucky Paws, Tinker Bess and Sarah Smirnoff collided approaching the 300m mark. Sarah Smirnoff and Tamile Lass collided approaching the 300m mark. Lucky Paws and El Grand Richo collided several times between the 200m mark to the 100m mark.

Knocka Feller and Owen Money were quick to begin. Azure Dragon was slow to begin. Wolf Point and Zipping Boyd collided soon after the start. Broadway Polka and Rhomboid collided at the 250m mark. Wolf Point and Azure Dragon collided at the 100m mark. Ryder Sir and Zipping Boyd collided approaching the winning post.

Mr G. Campbell, trainer of Bluehawk Robert declared a new weight of 33.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Bluehawk Robert last raced at 32.1kg.

Magic Maya and Just Jimmy collided at the 250m mark. Rapd Rock and Bluehawk Robert collided several times between the 250m mark and the 200m mark. Sonny Micawber checked off Maggie Mikado at the 150m mark. Well Armed and Sonny Micawber collided at the 100m mark.

Oliver Cruise checked off Logistic Kid approaching the 50m mark.

Scott Confused was a late scratching at 7.07am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Aeroplane Bella and Shaina Cabang collided at the 250m mark. Sky Rising and Spring Nugget collided at the 200m mark. Lyria, Sky Rising and Spring Nugget collided at the 200m mark. Spring Nugget and Shaina Cabang collided at the 100m mark. Smoke Signals and Shaina Cabang collided at the 50m mark. Blueflash Lenny and Sky Rising collided approaching the winning post.

Hit N' Split was slow to begin. Pinciotti crossed out soon after the start and colliding with Cataleya and Superior Scotch. Hit N' split crossed to the inside soon after the stark checking Uncatchable. Uncatchable and Pinciotti collided at the 250m mark. Marlow's Angel and Superior Scotch collided at the 150m mark. Marlow's Angel checked off Superior Scotch at the 50m mark severely checking Marlow's Angel. 

The muzzle of Aston Jynx was found to be broken on pulling up in the catching pen.

Cosmic Nosey was quick to begin. Cozi Fitz and Jupiter Ascending were slow to begin. Jupiter Ascending crossed to the outside soon after the start. Cozi Fitz and Fruit Frames collided at the 50m mark. Fruit Frames and Vandebay collided approaching the winning post.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Brave Innings trialled over the 300m from box 8, weight 32.4kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of four. The time of the trial was 16.44, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 9.75L. Brave Innings was Cleared.
