Steward's Report
Bound Two Affair, Wazza Hawk and Hurricane Wayne were quick to begin.
Kulu Ozzie was slow to begin.
Kraken Pace and My Bro Lewis collided approaching the first turn. Hurricane Wayne checked off Wazza Hawk approaching the first turn. Kraken Pace and Rains It Pours collided on the home turn. Bound Two Affair and Hurricane Wayne collided approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Dainton, the trainer of the greyhound Hurricane Wayne regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Hurricane Waynbe was vetted following the event and re-vetted following event 10. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left triceps, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Hurrican Wayne with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Dainton pleaded guilty to the charge, Hurricane Wayne was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
