A pre-race sample was taken from Queen Coriander.
Forgotten Girl and Slingshot Storm were slow to begin. Broulee Miss and Petite Harbour were very slow to begin (3L).
Von Magic and Forgotten Girl collided soon after the start, checking Von Magic. Petite Harbour galloped on Von Magic approaching the first turn, checking Von Magic and Queen Coriander. Joyous raced wide in the home straight.
Von Magic was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right gracilis (back) muscle. A 28-day stand down period was imposed.
