Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Vanda Mick upon arrival at the course.
Lektra Spring and Lektra Caution collided soon after the start. Whoomph and Notorious Mac collided soon after the start. Lektra Caution and Whoomph collided soon after the start and again on the second turn. Lektra Spring and Vanda Mick collided approaching the home turn. Lektra Spring visibily eased and collided with Dyna Bonnay in the home straight.
Lektra Spring underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left hindleg fibula injury and left hindleg triangle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mrs. A. Dailly, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Lektra Spring was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs. A. Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge, Lektra Spring must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
