Alonso Power was slow to begin.

That Will Be, Lost Blue and Buckle Up York collided soon after the start. Buckle Up York, Rosta Power and Tinker Bess collided approaching the first turn. Alina Grand and That Will Be collided approaching the first turn checking Alina Grand which lost ground, subsequently checking Buckle Up York and severely checking Tinker Bess. That Will Be and Lost Blue collided on the first turn. Alina Grand and Tinker Bess collided approaching the home turn checking Alina Grand. 

Alina Grand underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left calf injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Pink Floyd, Antares Star, Yogi Mikado and Light The Track collided several times approaching the first turn checking Pink Floyd and Antares Star. Light The Track and Jessie's Star collided approaching the second turn. Matilda Mikado and Episode collided on the second turn checking Matilda Mikado. Yogi Mikado and Episode collided approaching the third turn checking Jessie's Star. Light The Track and Matilda Mikado collided on the third turn. Yogi Mikado and Episode collided several times approaching the home turn. Episode checked off Yogi Mikado on the home turn checking Light The Track and Matilda Mikado. Light The Track crossed to the rail entering the home straight checking Jessie's Star, Episode and Pink Floyd. Jessie's Star and Matilda Mikado collided in the home straight. 

Antares Star underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the left medial groin. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Raine Allen and Buck The Jockey collided approaching the first turn, on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Raine Allen raced wide approaching the home turn. Kel Knight and Space Alert collided entering the home straight. 

Parumba Taylah was slow to begin.

Roland View and Lektra Miss collided approaching the first turn checking Roland View. Lektra Miss and Parumba Taylah collided on the first turn checking Parumba Taylah, Lektra Miss and Roland View. Just Faith and Zade's Magic collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Hardaway Outlaw and Just Faith collided entering the home straight. Zade's Magic checked off Just Faith entering the home straight. Just Faith raced wide in the home straight. Roland View faltered in the home straight and lost considerable ground. 

Roland View underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
