Steward's Report
Tessa Allen checked off Dusty Lace on the first turn. Nimble Leo raced wide approaching the home turn, checking Buddy's Entity. Lana Bale, Eastside and Dusty Lace collided entering the home straight, checking Dusty Lace and Rynell Bale. Eastside and Lana Bale collided in the home straight.
Lana Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right foreleg shoulder joint and right hindleg triangle injuries. A seven day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Tessa Allen - the winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Mr T Mitchell, the handler of Lana Bale, and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.
