Mr.J.Robinson, trainer of Tiny Wally declared a new weight of 35.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Tiny Wally last raced at 34.3kg.

Steel Magnolia and Sylo were slow to begin. Shooter's Ajax, Our Harley Quinn and Sylo collided at the 250m mark checking Sylo. Shooter's Ajax and Amber's Dolly collided several times approaching the 200m mark. Steel Magnolia crossed out at the 200m mark. Our Harley Quinn and Start From Zero collided approaching the 150m mark checking Start From Zero. Shooter's Ajax checked off Amber's Dolly at the 100m mark.

Hollywood Donuts was slow to begin.

All Inn Handles checked off Lost Horizon at the 100m mark. All Inn Handles and Aztec Warrior collided approaching the 50m mark

Stewards spoke to Mr K.Quinn, the trainer of Aztec Warrior and issued a warning regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing GAR 46(2).

Stewards spoke to Mr E. Dollery, the trainer of Bruree Boy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Bruree Boy last raced on 9th November, 2018. Mr Dollery stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a spell.

Zipping Cisco was a late scratching at 11.43am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Bruree Boy and Nice Surprise were slow to begin.

Lyria and Mt. View Gift collided soon after the start checking Mt. View Gift. Soda Ez checked off Taking Off at the 250m mark and crossed to the outside. Lyria and Taking Off collided at the 200m mark. Soda Ezy and Nice Surprise collided several times approaching the 150m mark. Lyria and Taking Off collided at the approaching the 150m mark and again at the 150m mark. Aunty Chris eased approaching the winning post. 

Soda Ezy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Aunty Chris was vetted and after being re-vetted following event five, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Robinson, the trainer of the greyhound Aunty Chris regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Aunty Chris with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Robinson pleaded guilty to the charge, Aunty Chris was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Eretria, Maddie's Mimi and Covfefe were slow to begin.

Eretria and Maddie's Mimi collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Eretria and Maddie's Mimi collided at the 200m mark. Eretria checked off Black in Town at the 150m mark checking Maddie's Mimi. Madonya and Black In Town collided approaching the 100m mark checking both greyhounds.

Mokhtar was slow to begin.

Soda Geoff and Inter Cody collided soon after the start. Wendy Maria, Goodbye Goldie and Inter Cody collided at the 300m mark checking Wendy Maria. Mokhtar crossed out at the 300m mark. Soda Geoff and Just Talking collided approaching the 250m mark. Wicked Reason, Wendy Maria and Just Talking collided approaching the 200m mark. Wicked Reason and Wendy Maria collided approaching the 150m mark. 

Midight Muscat was slow to begin and crossed out soon after the start and raced wide for the remainder of the event. 

Aston Jewel, Lanis Morris and Riverdale Danger collided soon after the start. Lanis Morris and Riverdale Danger collided at the 250m mark checking both greyhounds. Lanis Morris checked off Dontron at the 200m mark.

Stewards spoke to Ms.C.McMillan, the trainer of Miss Hanna Berry regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Miss Hanna Berry last raced on 19 October 2018. Ms.McMillan stated that the greyhound was resuming from a left front toe injury.  Ms.McMillan also declared a new weight of 30.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Miss Hanna Berry last raced at 28.4kg.

Riverdale Tarzan was slow to begin.

Cozi Fitz and Zipping Waldo collided soon after the start. Riverdale Tarzan faltered at the 250m mark and lost ground.

Riverdale Tarzan was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Shimmy Dat Ray.

Shimmy Dat Ray, Dubai Prince and Raloo Barbara collided soon after the start checking Raloo Barbara and severely checking Dubai Prince. Rhomboid crossed to the outside at the 300m mark checking Shimmy Dat Ray and Raloo Barbara. Shimmy Dat Ray and Patchie Thief collided at the 150m mark.

Dubai Prince was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained right shoulder injury and small abrasions to the left tarsus and left ulna, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Tinker Bess was slow to begin.

Merl's Michu crossed out soon after the start checking Hardy's Banjo and Bees On Fire. Merl's Michu and Bees On Fire collided at the 250m mark checking both greyhounds. Merl's Michu checked off Bees On Fire at the 200m mark. Porscha's Girl and Bees On Fire collided at the 150m mark checking both greyhounds. Bees On Fire crossed in at the 100m mark checking Porscha's Girl. Tana's Angel and Porscha's Girl at the 50m mark checking Tana's Angel.

Amlin Miss and Aston Boss collided soon after the start. Amlin Miss checked off Farfalla Nera soon after the start. Jupiter Ascending, Myrniong Cosmo and Farfalla Nera collided at the 250m mark checking all greyhounds. Claretown Boris galloped on the heels of Farfalla Nera severely checking both greyhounds, checking Just Blacky and Dewana Interest. Just Blacky checked off Aston Boss at the 150m mark.

Claretown Boris was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Myrniong Cosmo was vetted following an incident in the catching pen. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Farfalla Nera was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained minor abrasions to the left plantar and right lateral tarsus, no day stand down period was imposed.
