Steward's Report
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, today's meeting was declared Hot Weather Affected. At the commencement of kennelling the outside temperature was 24.2 degrees and the inside kennel temperature was 16.8 degrees.
The outside temperature at race start time was 25.5 degrees and the inside kennel temperature when the greyhounds were retrieved was 16.9 degrees.
An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Gazza's Pick, engaged in this event, on Thursday 21st February 2019 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Superior Kris and Gazza's Pick were slow to begin.
Breakaway Bandit and No Problem John collided soon after the start. Gazza's Pick and Braemar Keelie collided at the 250m mark and again at the 200m mark.
