A pre-race sample was taken from Crook Me Kindly.
All Inn Baz was slow begin.
Feikuai Donna and Head Banger collided soon after the start. Head Banger and Crook Me Kindly collided soon after the start checking Head Banger. Lektra Zephyr checked off Why Not Ginger soon after the start and collided with Lylah's Way. Crook Me Kindly, Feikuai Donna, Saetta and Why Not Ginger collided on the first turn checking Head Banger, Lylah's Way and severely checking Saetta and Why Not Ginger causing both greyhounds to fall.
Saetta was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle and right chest muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Why Not Ginger was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
