She Will Bloom, Celestial Jewel and Mossy Girl were quick to begin.  Cabin Fever, Zipping Bolt and Faraday were slow to begin.

Cabin Fever was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained left and right deltoid injuries, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr D. Pell, the trainer of Cabin Fever regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Cabin Fever with marring. Mr Pell pleaded not guilty to the charge, Cabin Fever was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zelzer Allen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

All Inn Baz was slow begin. 

Feikuai Donna and Head Banger collided soon after the start.  Head Banger and Crook Me Kindly collided soon after the start checking Head Banger.  Lektra Zephyr checked off Why Not Ginger soon after the start and collided with Lylah's Way.  Crook Me Kindly, Feikuai Donna, Saetta and Why Not Ginger collided on the first turn checking Head Banger, Lylah's Way and severely checking Saetta and Why Not Ginger causing both greyhounds to fall.  

Saetta was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle and right chest muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Why Not Ginger was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Sweet As Emm, Kinmoss Brave, Our Delta Rose, Ethics and Never Duplicated collided soon after the start checking Sweet As Emm, Ethics and Our Delta Rose.  Zipping Galon and Our Delta Rose collided approaching the first turn.  Matty Mateusz checked off Never Duplicated on the first turn checking Sweet As Emm.  Hayley's Style and Never Duplicated collided on the first turn.  Zipping Galon and Sweet As Emm collided in the front straight checking Sweet As Emm.  Zipping Galon, Sweet As Emm and Our Delta Rose collided on the third turn checking Zipping Galon.  Zipping Galon and Our Delta Rose collided in the back straight checking Zipping Galon. Kinmoss Brave lost ground from turning off the back straight.

Charlie Cockatoo was quick to begin.  Miss Pocket Aces was slow to begin.

Extreme Summer crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Weeona Bont.  Precious Sal, Lektra Caution and Pagan Dancer collided approaching the first turn checking Lektra Caution.  Precious Sal and Pagan Dancer collided approaching the first turn checking Pagan Dancer.  Pagan Dancer and Weeona Bont collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Lektra Caution checked off Weeona Bont on the first turn.  Precious Sal, Miss Pocket Aces and Blistering collided on the first turn.  Precious Sal and Blistering collided entering the back straight.  Extreme Summer and Blistering collided approaching the home turn.  Precious Sal checked off Weeona Bont on the home turn.

Blistering was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr W. Vassallo regarding the greyhound’s racing manners near the winning post. Stewards were satisfied that Blistering turned its head inwards just past the winning post and as such took no further action.

A post-race sample was taken from Charlie Cockatoo - winner of the event. 

Stewards spoke to Mr K. Greenough, the trainer of Zara's Entity regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Zara's Entity last raced on 16 September 2018 and is returning from a seasonal spell.

Sisco Dun, Spokane Flick, Dyna Terror and Dyna Carnie collided on the first turn checking Dyna Terror and Dyna Carnie.  Fleur Delacour and Zara's Entity collided on the first turn checking Zara's Entity.  

Zara's Entity was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right sartorius injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr J. Britton was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration papers/registration card were produced for the greyhound Milky Jones pursuant to GAR 33.

Soda King was slow to begin.  Dyna Bonnay and Milky Jones were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Diego Fernando and Wilbur Deeds collided approaching the first turn.

Angel Dash, Winsome Fernando, Lochinvar Deus and Dealer Wins were slow to begin.

Jones, the trainer of La Vagabonde regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  La Vagabonde was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained left and right deltoid injuries, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged La Vagabonde with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Jones pleaded guilty to the charge, La Vagabonde was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
