MEETING COMMENTS:

5 minutes into the kennelling process, technical difficulties accrued thus delaying kennelling, as a result all races went back one race with race 12 rescheduled for 10:47pm.

A sample was taken from Banjo Plato earlier today, during a kennel visit by Stewards.

Banjo Plato, Fun Time Mikado and Kip Your Best were slow to begin.

Nessie Bale and Kip Your Best collided approaching the first turn.  Heavy Fuel checked off Nessie Bale on the first turn severely checking Heavy Fuel.  Kip Your Best checked off Heavy Fuel on the home turn. 

Marshall Dillon and Spotted Panther were quick to begin.

Meraki and Kip Your Star collided on the first turn severely checking Kip Your Star.  Matilda Mikado checked off Marshall Dillon approaching the home turn.  Matilda Mikado and Meraki collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

A sample was taken from Kiranna Blue earlier today, during a kennel visit by Stewards.

Miss Conduct and Kiranna Blue were slow to begin.

Hadeel Bale and Kiranna Blue collided approaching the first turn.  Horus Blue and Hadeel Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Kiranna Blue.  Miss Conduct checked off Hadeel Bale on the first turn.  Kiranna Blue and Horus Blue collided on the home turn. 

A post-race sample was taken from Royal Jebrynah - winner of the event.

Chillin and Jaguar Jessie were quick to begin.  Only Wish was slow to begin.

Ernest To Bale checked off Jaguar Jessie on the first turn.  Renita Bale and Only Wish raced wide on the first turn.  Only Wish tied over in the home straight.

Only Wish was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke to Mrs C.Cortese, the representative of the greyhound Only Wish. Mrs Cortese declined to have the greyhound re-vetted.  Stewards deemed the performance of Only Wish unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Only Wish must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Bluegrass Icon.

Dyna Kara was quick to begin.

Dynamic Rainbow, Wears Woodleigh and Ivey's Affair collided approaching the first turn.  Ivey's Affair and Rodeo collided on the first turn checking Rodeo.  Dyna Kara and Dynamic Rainbow collided on the home turn checking Dyna Kara.

A pre-race sample was taken from Dex's Affair.

It's A Thrill and Dex's Affair were quick to begin.

Zipping Caesar checked off Dex's Affair on the first turn.  Miss Zok Dee raced wide on the first turn.  It's A Thrill and Full Tilt collided in the home straight.  Miss Zok Dee raced wide in the home straight.

Miss Zok Dee was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left calf injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Splinter and Whiney Whine were slow to begin.

Savannah Icon and Dyna Alexia collided soon after the start checking Dyna Alexia.  Savannah Icon and Dyna Alexia collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Dyna Alexia and Splinter collided on the first turn checking Dyna Alexia.  Pink Floyd checked off Dyna Alexia on the second turn.

Lockrod and Romany Girl collided approaching the second turn.  Johnny Black and Riviera Cruz collided on the third turn.  Dyna Carmen and Johnny Black collided entering the home straight.  Johnny Black lost ground in the home straight.

Johnny Black was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Zipping Buffy crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Zipping Benny.  Moroka Assassin and Zipping Benny collided on the first turn.  Up And About and Zipping Buffy collided on the first turn.  Moroka Assassin checked off Zipping Benny on the first turn.  Moroka Assassin and Ita Louisa collided approaching the second turn Up And About and Zipping Buffy collided on the home turn.  Zipping Benny and Ita Louisa collided entering the home straight.

Dyna Winter was quick to begin.

Dyna Forrest checked off Perrie The Fairy approaching the first turn.  Why Not Bazzar and Tijuana Icon collided on the first turn checking Tijuana Icon and Elusive Anake.  Molly Spolly checked off Dyna Forrest on the home turn.  Molly Spolly and Elusive Anake collided entering the home straight.  Perrie The Fairy and Elusive Anake raced wide in the home straight.

Trainer Mr J. Gorgioski requested that Elusive Anake be vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hind dislocated toe, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Lemonade Kid was quick to begin.  Buckle Up Spud was slow to begin.

Harper's Hand and Bigtime Bruce collided soon after the start.  Buckle Up Spud and Main One collided approaching the first turn checking Buckle Up Spud. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Destini Florida.

Lucas Rose, Spector Icon and Water Pistol collided soon after the start.  Destini Florida clipped the heels of Chopping Spuds approaching the first turn checking Destini Florida, Spector Icon and severely checking Chopping Spuds.  Zipping Dash and Mini Tron collided on the home turn.
