Gazza's Pick went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.
Aston Kah, Kraken Buster and Aston Akira collided approaching the first turn. Kraken Buster and Aston Kah collided approaching the first turn and on the first turn severely checking Kraken Buster which fell and severely checking Zipping Tex and causing the greyhound to tail off.
Kraken Buster was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left shoulder. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.
Zipping Tex was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion and a spike wound to the left hind paw. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.
