Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr K Chivell, the trainer of Abyssal regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Abyssal last raced on 27/07/2018. Mr Chivell stated that the greyhound had torn its left triangle muscle.
Abyssal was slow to begin.
Shakey Cougar and Clover Lad collided soon after the start. Abyssal checked off Shakey Cougar at the 300m mark checking Abyssal. Manila Kampyon and Here's Tiger collided at the 300m mark. Manila Kampyon and Clover Lad collided at the 200m mark checking Here's Tiger. Shelbourne Star and Rube's Ablaze collided at the 150m mark checking Rube's Ablaze. Abyssal and Shakey Cougar collided at the 150m mark. Clover Lad and Manila Kampyon collided at the 150m mark. Clover Lad and Here's Tiger collided at the 100m mark. Clover Lad and Manila Kampyon collided at the 50m mark and again approaching the winning post.
