Buckle Up Leo and Mini Dozer were slow to begin.
Unmid Bale, Disco Lemonade and Baggy's Request collided soon after the start. Buckle Up Leo and She's Got Dash collided approaching the first turn checking Buckle Up Leo which lost ground. Baggy's Request and Buckle Up York collided approaching the first turn checking Buckle Up York. She's Got Dash and Disco Lemonade collided on the first turn. Disco Lemonade galloped on Unmid Bale entering the home straight checking Baggy's Request and severely checking Disco Lemonade and Unmid Bale. Disco Lemonade, Unmid Bale and Baggy's Request collided approaching the winning post.
Dico Lemonade was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right calf injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr L. Harris, the trainer of Disco Lemonade regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight.
