Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Duece Victorem.
Wafer Thin was quick to begin. Tat Chloe was very slow to begin (3L) Duece Victorem, Kelli Pochette and Northern Bowler collided soon after the start. Classy Vanda and Wafer Thin collided approaching the first turn. Duece Victorem and Kelli Pochette collided approaching the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Refueled and Wafer Thin collided in the home straight. Classy Vanda raced wide in the home straight and lost ground.
Classy Vanda was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a neck injury. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. E. Hamilton regarding the direction that the greyhound Janray Lucky One be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.
