Frankie Moss was slow to begin. Mariah's Moon, Big Cam and Hammer Red collided soon after the start checking Big Cam. Long Bow, Hammer Red and Mariah's Moon collided on the first turn. Mac's Mayhem galloped on the heels of Rustic Rose approaching the home turn severely checking Rustic Rose causing Mac's Mayhem and Frankie Moss to fall.

Mac's Mayhem was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right shoulder muscles, right hind paw and shin soreness in the right hind leg. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Rustic Rose was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Frankie Moss was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to left stopper pad, left rear hock and left lumber muscles. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Duece Victorem.

Wafer Thin was quick to begin. Tat Chloe was very slow to begin (3L) Duece Victorem, Kelli Pochette and Northern Bowler collided soon after the start. Classy Vanda and Wafer Thin collided approaching the first turn. Duece Victorem and Kelli Pochette collided approaching the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Refueled and Wafer Thin collided in the home straight. Classy Vanda raced wide in the home straight and lost ground.

Classy Vanda was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a neck injury. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. E. Hamilton regarding the direction that the greyhound Janray Lucky One be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

A pre-race sample was April Jay.

Glacier Boy was very slow to begin (3L). Tat Nuggie and Wild Bandit collided approaching the first turn. Kraken Greta and Glacier Boy collided on the first turn checking Glacier Boy. April Jay galloped on the heels of Tat Nuggie approaching the home turn severely checking April Jay and causing Tat Nuggie to fall. Hello Cobber raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight.

Tat Nuggie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left monkey muscle, left biceps and the right side of the neck. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Desmond, the trainer of the greyhound Knocker's Gold regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. Knocker's Gold was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right monkey muscle and left back muscle. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Knocker's Gold with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Desmond pleaded guilty to the charge, Knocker's Gold was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

All Inn Houston was slow to begin. Game Spirit, Sergai, Solo, Lil Miss Earner and Stylish Chief collided on the first turn checking Lil Miss Earner, Solo, Sergai and Game Spirit. Short Leash was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained right rear shin soreness. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

Jaimandy Carl was slow to begin. Proud Phoenix lost ground approaching the first turn and tailed off. Clovally Mansumi, Dazzling Liesel and White Ambush on the first turn checking Dazzling Liesel. White Ambush and Klondike Gold collided on the home turn. Clovally Mansumi and Klondike Gold collided in the home straight.

Shamrock Valley was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained lacerations to the left and right fore wrists and a left wrist sprain. A stand down period of 28 days was imposed.

Proud Phoenix was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left back muscle. A stand down period of 60 days was imposed.

Dazzling Liesel was vetted after falling heavily in the catching pen. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist and superficial lacerations to the left hock and right fore and hind paws. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.

Crackerjack Roy was a late scratching at 13:53 on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a laceration to the skull. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Jumbo Bale, Our Mojo and Mexican Ned collided soon after the start checking Jumbo Bale. Our Mojo and Mexican Ned collided approaching the first turn. Hillbilly Boy and Toss The Dice collided on the first turn checking Hillbilly Boy.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Long , the trainer of Awesome Freckles regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Awesome Freckles last raced on 16th May 2018. Mr. Long stated that the greyhound was resuming racing from a spell.

A pre-race sample was taken from Reverend John.

Mini Sticka was quick to begin. Calen, Mister Blue and Clovalley Mauri collided soon after the start checking Mister Blue. Calen, Clovalley Mauri, Reverend John and Tat Loxy collided approaching the first turn checking Clovalley Mauri. Tat Loxy and Awesome Freckles collided on the first turn severely checking Awesome Freckles. Calen and Reverend John collided approaching the home turn checking Calen.

Meeting Comments:-

Satisfactory Trial Results - Atlas Anonymous trialled over the 425mt from box 8, weight 36.3kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.37, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.25L. Atlas Anonymous was not cleared.

Atlas Anonymous was vetted following the trial. It was reported that the greyhound was found to have very tight lumber muscles indicative of cramp. No stand down period was imposed.
