Aston Mambo was a late scratching at 17:02 on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to illness (Elevated Temp.).  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Another Rupee and Nate's Awesome were quick to begin.  Nate's Awesome and Twice Blessed collided approaching the first turn.  Master Zemnick and Grab That Earn collided on the first turn.  Twice Blessed checked off Another Rupee approaching the home turn.  Master Zemnick and Grab That Earn collided approaching the home turn.

Disco Hips was quick to begin.  Superior Briz stumbled after the start and was slow to begin.  Select All, Shine The Weapon and Disco Hips collided on the first turn checking Select All, Disco Hips, Hip Hippy Shake, El Alegre and Catcha Nugget and severely checking Shine The Weapon.  Select All and Catcha Nugget collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from She's An Earn, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Mia Tesoro was quick to begin.  Akina Harley was very slow to begin (5 lengths).  Perfect Zuma checked off She's An Earn approaching the first turn.  Cosa Bona, Perfect Zuma and Yuken Pay Me collided on the first turn checking Perfect Zuma.  She's An Earn checked off Jebrynah Helios on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Connor the trainer of True Gem regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  True Gem last raced 19th June 2018.  Mr. Connor stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being on season.

Mr. J. Connor, trainer of True Gem declared a new weight of 29.2kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  True Gem last raced at 27.7kgs.

Zipping Josette was quick to begin.  Blue Tornado and Bowie Boy were slow to begin.  True Gem, Aston Narita, Arctic Iggy and Superior Primo collided soon after the start.  Arctic Iggy and Superior Primo collided on the first turn checking Arctic Iggy and Aston Narita.  St. Leo, True Gem and Superior Primo collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking True Gem and Superior Primo.

Soda King and Where's Lachie were slow to begin.  Dr. Leonardo, Bont's Magic, Degani and Who's Got Class collided on the first turn checking Dr. Leonardo, Where's Lachie and Degani.  Cosmic Yessam, Bont's Magic and Who's Got Class collided on the second turn checking Cosmic Yessam and Bont's Magic.  Cosmic Yessam checked off Bont's Magic approaching the home turn.

Wilburn, Beau Gem, Rose Rose and Tito Mojito collided soon after the start checking Beau Gem.  Wilburn, Rose Rose, Eau Rouge, Tito Mojito, Demand A Panda and Mepunga Bonnie collided on the first turn checking Demand A Panda, Eau Rouge and Beau Gem, severely checking Rose Rose which stumbled and lost considerable ground.

Rose Rose was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Urban Bourbon, Hannah Bear and Trey Smidge were slow to begin.  Urban Bourbon, Hannah Bear and Trey Smidge collided on the first turn checking Urban Bourbon.  Macalister Tiger and Wharfies Girl collided on the second turn checking Wharfies Girl.  Wharfies Girl and Trey Smidge collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Tibby Shore and PerrieLulu were slow to begin.  Twenty Tamar, Kadalex Kid and Dr. Abbie collided soon after the start checking Kadalex Kid.  Parcero Hope and Dr. Abbie collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn.  Parcero Hope checked off Dr. Abbie on the home turn .  Kadalex Kid raced wide on the home turn.

Mr. G. Sciortino, trainer of Urban Shiraz declared a new weight of 25.8kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Urban Shiraz last raced at 24.7kgs.

Zipping Dancer was quick to begin.  Akina Daisy was slow to begin.  Hundred and Surfonic Gold collided approaching the first turn checking Surfonic Gold and Akina Daisy.  Dr. Shreds and Surfonic Gold collided on the first turn checking Akina Daisy and Dr. Shreds and severely checking Surfonic Gold.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Christopher McMillan representative of Macalister Mac regarding the GRV Dress Code LR22, in that he ensures he complies with the requirement of a black jumper.  Stewards reminded him of his responsibilities.

Doc's Reward was quick to begin.  Major Amor was slow to begin.  Wadelock Venus and Macalister Mac collided approaching the first turn checking Wadelock Venus.  Leopardstown, Meehan Barney, Macalister Mac and Major Amor collided on the first turn severely checking Macalister Mac.
