Blackpool Remi was quick to begin. Que Allen was slow to begin.

Maverick Bob, Piparae and Blackpool Remi collided on the first turn, checking Blackpool Remi, Run The Route and Troy's Rocket and severely checking Piparae; Piparae collided with Polo Pete and Fran Keeping, all three greyhounds lost considerable ground. Que Allen checked off Blackpool Remi approaching the home turn. Que Allen and Blackpool Remi collided on the home turn. 

Piparae was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right metacarpal fracture. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Lucky Luna and We Love Spolly collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Aladdin Prince checked off Miss Luna Girl on the first turn and collided with Lucky Luna, checking Aladdin Prince, Lucky Luna and We Love Spolly. Miss Luna Girl and Water Pistol collided approaching the home turn. Aladdin Prince and Lucky Luna collided approaching the home turn. Aladdin Prince and We Love Spolly collided approaching the home turn, checking We Love Spolly. Water Pistol and Riclesky collided entering the home straight. Lucky Luna brushed the running rail on the home turn.

Blue Afro and Buckle Up Spud collided approaching the first turn. Really Magic and Blackhawk Parker collided on the home turn. Blue Afro and Dyna Maple collided on the home turn and again in the home straight. 

Psychedelic Jay was slow to begin. 

Valar Morghulis and Rock Johnson collided soon after the start, checking Valar Morghulis. Rock Johnson and Wears Woodleigh collided soon after the start, checking Wears Woodleigh. Rock Johnson, Omen Allen and Dyna Alexia collided approaching the first turn, checking Omen Allen. Rock Johnson checked off Tempered on the first turn. Voluptuous Ruby and Wears Woodleigh collided on the first turn, checking Wears Woodleigh and Psychedelic Jay. Rock Johnson and Dyna Alexia collided approaching the second turn. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Ian Dann, the trainer of Liberty Tron regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Liberty Tron last raced on 23 May, 2018 and is returning to racing following a spell and change of kennel.

High Tenacity and Creative Playboy collided soon after the start. Vanishka and Creative Playboy collided on the first turn. La Bamba Icon checked off Vanishka on the first turn. Plumcad and Creative Playboy collided approaching the second turn.

Dyna Winter and Tijuana Icon was quick to begin. No Road, Qatar Girl and Roland View were slow to begin.

Stewards spoke to Mr Terry Burns, the representative for the greyhound No Road regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.  No Road was vetted and re-vetted following event 9. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged No Road with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Burns pleaded not guilty to the charge, No Road was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Audacious Poppy. 

Stirling Defence, Riviera Cruz and Han Solo collided soon after the strat. Blusain Bolt, Dyna Carmen, Audacious Poppy and Han Solo collided approaching the first turn, checking Dyna Carmen and Han Solo. Dyna Alia crossed to the rails on the first turn, checking Riviera Cruz, Audacious Poppy, Stirling Defence, Dyna Carmen and Dewana Special and causing Han Solo to fall. Dyna Carmen and Stirling Defence collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn. Stirling Defence checked off Riviera Cruz on the home turn. 

Audacious Poppy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right metacarpal. No stand down period was imposed. 

Han Solo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Stan and Penny Black were slow to begin.

Blunderbuss, Zipping Stan, Penny Black and Alonso Power collided on the first turn, severely checking Alonso Power, Penny Black and Zipping Stan. Beluga Diamond and Go Zippy Go collided on the first turn, checking Go Zippy Go, Birkenhead and Blunderbuss. Beluga Diamond and Birkenhead collided approaching the home turn, checking Go Zippy Go. A pre-race sample was taken from Totally Fab upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Mr Joseph Clarke, trainer of Totally Fab declared a new weight of 30.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Totally Fab ast raced at 28.5kgs. 

Bee Rose checked off Buckle Up Leo approaching the first turn. Cosmic Lachy faltered approaching the home turn. Buckle Up Leo crossed out on the home turn and collided with Galloping Rokyto. 

Cosmic Lachy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed. 

Bee Rose was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right calf and injuries to the right wrist and left triangle muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results - 

Knew It trialled over the 311m from box 1, weight 31.7kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of four. The time of the trial was 18.51, the greyhound beaten by a margin of 1 length. Knew It was cleared.

Aston Halle trialled over the 311m from box 8, weight 26.7kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of four. The time of the trial was 18.51, the greyhound beaten by a margin of a nose. Aston Halle was cleared.
