Steward's Report
Untold Soldier was quick to begin. Kraken Copper was slow to begin.
Splash Of Blue checked off Ominous Warning on the first turn, checking Piriformis and Kraken Copper. Base Camp veered out and marred Untold Soldier in the home straight.
Base Camp was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Pell, trainer of the greyhound Base Camp regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Base Camp with marring. Mr. D. Pell pleaded guilty to the charge, Base Camp was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
