Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Taylor, the trainer of the greyhound Thomeli Rocker regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Thomeli Rocker was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left hamstring, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Thomeli Rocker with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Taylor pleaded guilty to the charge, Thomeli Rocker was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Shazza Weetbix checked off Chops Malon soon after the start.  Dewana No Secret and Shazza Weetbix collided approaching the first turn, checking Dewana No Secret.  Chops Malone and White Cynder collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Cash No Bounce and Half A Minya, Half A Minya fell as a result.  Shazza Weetbix checked off Sedaka approaching the home turn.  White Cynder checked off Chops Malone approaching the home turn. Half A Minya was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left quadricep, a seven day stand down period was imposed.

Cash No Bounce was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Close Enough was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found, however it was reported by the On-Course Veterinarian that the greyhound had a slower than normal recovery.

Untold Soldier was quick to begin.  Kraken Copper was slow to begin.

Splash Of Blue checked off Ominous Warning on the first turn, checking Piriformis and Kraken Copper.  Base Camp veered out and marred Untold Soldier in the home straight.

Base Camp was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Pell, trainer of the greyhound Base Camp regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Base Camp with marring. Mr. D. Pell pleaded guilty to the charge, Base Camp was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Donnelly, the trainer of Stand Beside Me regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Stand Beside Me last raced on 14th July, 2018.  Mr. Donnelly stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a front right toe injury.
