Wild Vane was a late scratching at 10:57am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Got Goosebumps and David's Way collided soon after the start. Speed Burst and David's Way collided several times at the 300m mark. Big Holiday checked off Soda Ezy approaching the 250m mark. Chill Out Isla, David's Way and Speed Burst collided several times from the 250m mark to the 200m mark. Speed Burst, David's Way, Big Holiday and Chill Out Isla collided at the 200m mark. Big Holiday checked off Speed Burst at the 100m mark. Got Goosebumps veered out and marred Soda Ezy approaching the winning post.

Got Goosebumps was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Mr J. Jarkis, the trainer of the greyhound Got Goosebumps regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Got Goosebumps with marring. Mr J. Jarkis pleaded guilty to the charge, Got Goosebumps was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Franklin Allen and Guevara collided soon after the start. Pink Tiara and Monica's Joy collided approaching the 300m mark. Pink Tiara, Monica's Joy, Guevara and Franklin Allen collided at the 300m mark. Johnny Dunbar and Molly's Money collided at the 250m mark. Guevara, Johnny Dunbar, Molly's Money and No Recourse collided approaching the 150m mark. Pink Tiara crossed to the outside at the 150m mark checking Franklin Allen; Pink Tiara raced wide for the remainder of the event. Monica's Joy and Franklin Allen collided approaching the 50m mark. Monica's Joy checked off Franklin Allen at the 50m mark.

Miller's Court, Lethal Levi and Keisha's Boy were slow to begin.

Keisha's Boy and Dorothy Brown collided soon after the start and again approaching the 300m mark. Just Jimmy checked off It Is Done at the 300m mark. Keisha's Boy and Dorothy Dawn raced tight and collided on several occasions from the 300m mark to the Winning Post. Miller's Court checked off Master Winslow at the 250m mark. It Is Done checked off Lethal Levi at the 100m mark.

Bourbon An Kahn was slow to begin.

Mallard and Xan Mai collided approaching the 300m mark checking Samba King. Mallard and Samba King collided approaching the 300m mark. Mallard checked off Samba King at the 250m mark and as a result Mallard faltered and tailed the field. Bourbon An Kahn and To The Galo's collided several times from the 250m mark to the 200m mark. Chum's Special and Xan Mai collided at the 200m mark and again approaching the Winning Post.

Mallard was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Glen Mika and Dazzling Liesel were slow to begin.

Able and Conde collided soon after the start. Lightning Parade crossed to the inside soon after the start colliding with Able. Spritely Bob, Able and Lightning Parade collided at the 300m mark checking Banjo Milne. Dazzling Liesel checked off Banjo Milne at the 250m mark. Spritely Bob, Lightning Parade and Conde collided at the 250m mark. Banjo Milne and Able collided approaching the 150m mark. Able and Lightning Parade collided several times from the 100m mark to the 50m mark.

Miss J. Fothergill, trainer of Jumbo Bale declared a new weight of 39.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Jumbo Bale last raced at 38.6kg.

My Fernando Tim and Miss Flower collided soon after the start. Miss Flower and Bubsy John collided soon after the start. My Fernando Tim and Eggeb Mai collided at the 300m mark. Tusksa and Mr. Diaz collided at the 300m mark. My Fernando Tim and Eggeb Mai collided at the 250m mark. Miss Flower checked off Jumbo Bale at the 250m mark. Go Didda Go was slow to begin.

Subscapularis crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Miss Pocket Aces, Giant Bale and Challis Sprite. Giant Bale and Go Didda Go collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Go Didda Go and Miss Pocket Aces collided at the 300m mark checking Go Didda Go. Shimmy Dat Ray and Wolf Point collided at the 250m mark. Go Didda Go and Miss Pocket Aces collided at the 50m mark and again approaching the Winning Post.

Stewards spoke to Mr R. Anchen, the trainer of Cullquin Alexis regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Cullquin Alexis last raced on 18th June 2018. Mr R. Anchen stated that the greyhound is resuming racing after a fractured left radius.

Bolare checked off Porscha's Girl at the 250m mark. Porscha's Girl and All You Got collided at the 100m mark. Mrs. Jawa and All You Got collided approaching the 50m mark. Mrs. Jawa, Doran's Grove and Porscha's Girl collided at the 50m mark checking Porscha's Girl. Bolare and Seeka Moment collided approaching the Winning Post.
