Dyna Chancer, Equilibrium and Moment To Jive collided soon after the start checking Equilibrium.  Rockstar Patriot crossed to the rail in the back straight checking Sharp Diamond and Zagati.  Equilibrium raced wide throughout the event.  Dyna Chancer and Moment To Jive collided on the third turn.  Zagati and Moment To Jive collided on the fourth turn.  Sharp Diamond and Flying Flyer collided approaching the home turn.  Zagati and Dyna Chancer collided in the home straight.  Flying Flyer faded in the home straight.

Equilibrium was disappointing and vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury. Mr Garland advised that he believes that Equilibrium does not handle this venue for unknown reasons and as such, Equilibrium will return to racing at Sandown Park through the Speed Star Series.

Perfect Rocky was quick to begin.  Quara's Zade, Texas and Dundee Ace were slow to begin.  Lucy's Quest and Aston Nirvana collided soon after the start.  Lucy's Quest, Aston Nirvana and Dundee Ace collided approaching the first turn.  Appointed crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Dundee Ace, Quara's Zade, Texas, Lucy's Quest, Aston Nirvana and Dewana Hand causing Lucy's Quest and Aston Nirvana to fall, severely checking Texas and Dewana Hand.  Texas checked off Appointed in the back straight resulting in Texas and Dundee Ace to collide heavily causing Dundee Ace to lose ground as a result.

Texas was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right metatarsal, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Celestial Folk, Dewana Dimie, Matty Mateusz and Zudactyl Monelli collided soon after the start checking Celestial Folk and Zudactyl Monelli.  Zudactyl Monelli checked off Celestial Folk approaching the first turn.  Bolt Like Bekim and Good Luck Mark raced wide on the second turn.  Dewana Dimie and Matty Mateusz collided on the second turn.  Dewana Dimie and Zudactyl Monelli checked off Celestial Folk approaching the fifth turn.  Zudactyl Monelli checked off Dewana Dimie on the fifth turn.  McIvor Verna and Dyna Benny collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.  Dewana Dimie faded in the home straight.

Dewana Dimie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right calf muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Barcali and Gateway To Eden were slow to begin and collided on the first turn.  Quick Step, Dyna Wazza and Ash Star collided on the first turn checking Quick Step.  Honcho Monelli and Hit The Highway collided in the front straight.  Dyna Wazza crossed to the rail on the second turn checking Quick Step which collided with Go Seek Heidi.  Honcho Monelli and Hit The Highway raced wide on the third turn.  Ash Star faltered on the third turn and lost ground.  Barcali was held up approaching the the fourth turn.  Honcho Monelli raced wide on the home turn.  Hit The Highway checked off Quick Step in the home straight.  Quick Step and Honcho Monelli raced wide in the home straight.

Ash Star was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left metatarsal sprain, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Kimetto was slow to begin.  Winnie Allen and Dyna Evelyn collided approaching the first turn.  Wilbur Deeds. Are You and She's Gifted collided on the first turn.  Aston Kimetto, Winnie Allen and Dewana Special collided on the first turn checking Winnie Allen causing Dewana Special to race wide.  She's Gifted crossed to the rail on the second turn checking Are You.  Wilbur Deeds, Are You and Aston Kimetto collided approaching the third turn.  Wilbur Deeds and Dyna Evelyn collided heavily entering the home straight.  Dewana Special faded over the concluding stages.

Spint Tee was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke with registered person, Ms Carole Brinsley about her mannerisms in the vicinity of the catching pen post race.  Ms Brinsley was advised/cautioned to behave in a more befitting and civil manner when on-course.

Waleonjon was slow to begin.  Verne Allen, Poke The Bear and Miss Innings collided soon after the start.  Verne Allen, Waleonjon and Miss Innings collided on the first turn checking Waleonjon causing Miss Innings to race wide.  Dyna Oscar raced wide in the back straight.  Dyna Oscar and Up Hill Jill collided heavily on the home turn.  Poke The Bear and Hecton Bale collided on the home turn.  Hecton Bale checked off Poke The Bear in the home straight.
