Steward's Report
Uncle Bump was a late scratching at 10.11am due to L Groin Injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. The greyhound was re-vetted by on course Veterinary Surgeon, Zoe Manning prior to kennelling to confirm the injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Lorenza upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Liberal Nunnio and Fawn Regrets were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Dyna Jenaya, Fawn Regrets and Lorenza collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Jenaya. All Inn Hunter and Fawn Regrets collided on the first turn checking All Inn Hunter and Liberal Nunnio. Liberal Nunnio galloped on the heels of All Inn Hunter on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Dyna Jenaya raced wide on the home turn and again entering the home straight.
