Dyna Ignis was quick to begin.  Itinerary was slow to begin.  All Inn Tyler and Extreme Justice collided soon after the start checking Extreme Justice and Itinerary.  You Blue, Dyna Ignis and All Inn Tyler collided approaching the first turn checking Duece Victorem.  You Blue and All Inn Tyler collided on the first turn checking You Blue.  You Blue and Tat Chloe collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  You Blue, Tat Chloe and Itinerary collided approaching the home turn checking Tat Chloe and Itinerary.  You Blue and Itinerary collided several times in the home straight.  You Blue faltered in the catching pen.

You Blue was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right biceps injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Tomal, the winner of the event.

A pre race sample was taken from Aston Ute.

Aston Ute was quick to begin.  Barcia Houdini was slow to begin.  Aston Jewel checked off Arachnophobia approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Barcia Houdini checked off All Revved Up on the first turn checking Black Rose Texas and Arachnophobia.  Barcia Houdini and Black Rose Texas collided approaching the home turn.  Aston Jewel and Fairground collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds. 

All Revved Up was vetted following an incident in the Catching Pen.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

A pre race sample was taken from Go Go Dancer.

Go Go Dancer and Morpheus were slow to begin.  Hello Cobber and Miss Heart collided soon after the start.  Gracioso and Blue Berty collided soon after the start checking Blue Berty.  Hello Cobber and Miss Heart collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Heart which stumbled.  Queen Of Meereen and Go Go Dancer collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Queen Of Meereen galloped on the heels of Go Go Dancer approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Morpheus galloped on the heels of Go Go Dancer on the home turn, severely checking both greyhounds.  Go Go Dancer stumbled and lost ground as a result.  Blue Berty, Queen Of Meereen and Miss Heart collided in the home straight checking Miss Heart.  Blue Berty and Queen Of Meereen collided approaching the winning post.

Go Go Dancer was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the rear left hock, no stand down period was imposed.

Morpheus was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right fore limb, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Gracioso, the winner of the event.

Oshkosh Jay was quick to begin.  Cut Snake and Cash Or Card were slow to begin.  All Inn Youi and Tana's Angel collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Cut Snake galloped on the heels of Oshkosh Jay on the first turn checking both greyhounds, checking Scott Lucky and Don Quixote as a result.  All Inn Youi galloped on the heels of Scott Lucky approaching the home turn, severely checking both greyhounds.

Scott Lucky was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

All Inn Youi was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left hock, no stand down period was imposed.

Uncle Bump  was a late scratching at 10.11am due to L Groin Injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. The greyhound was re-vetted by on course Veterinary Surgeon, Zoe Manning prior to kennelling to confirm the injury.

Liberal Nunnio and Fawn Regrets were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Dyna Jenaya, Fawn Regrets and Lorenza collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Jenaya.  All Inn Hunter and Fawn Regrets collided on the first turn checking All Inn Hunter and Liberal Nunnio.  Liberal Nunnio galloped on the heels of All Inn Hunter on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Dyna Jenaya raced wide on the home turn and again entering the home straight.

Jaimandy Carl and Klondike Gold were slow to begin.  Monaro Joe, Jaimandy Carl and Tat Tubby collided on the first turn checking Bletchley and Tat Tubby.  Jaimandy Carl and Zipping Riot collided approaching the home turn.  Monaro Joe and Jaimandy Carl collided entering the home straight.  Tat Tubby and Zipping Riot collided in the home straight.

A sample was taken from Hector Cabang, the winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Dead Eye Dickson.

Spring Ace was slow to begin.  Proven Strudel, Tat Scooby and Dyna Zaynabi collided soon after the start checking Proven Strudel, Spring Ace and Tat Scooby.  Dead Eye Dickson and Dyna Zaynabi collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Zaynabi.  Quando Quando and Swift Spur collided on the first turn checking Quando Quando.  Proven Strudel galloped on the heels of Dead Eye Dickson on the first turn checking Dead Eye Dickson.  Spring Ace and Swift Spur collided entering the home straight.

Ms S. Ferguson, Trainer was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration/weight card was produced for the greyhound Dyna Yami, pursuant to GAR 33.

Delaware County was slow to begin.  Dyna Diedre, Stir Fry Shrimp and Merry Magic collided approaching the first turn checking Stir Fry Shrimp.  Stir Fry Shrimp contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground.  Delaware County, Top Alcohol, Dyna Yami and Merry Magic collided on the first turn checking Dyna Yami and Merry Magic.  Dyna Yami and Merry Magic collided entering the home straight.

Stir Fry Shrimp was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Crackerjack Des was quick to begin.  Liberal Jones and Kubla De Kahn were slow to begin.  Shaina Cabang, Attack Plan and Annaley Flash collided soon after the start checking Attach Plan.  Jaimandy Joyce raced wide on the first turn.  Attack Plan and Kubla De Kahn collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Annaley Flash, Perfect Empire and Jaimandy Joyce collided on the first turn checking Jaimandy Joyce.  Annaley Flash and Perfect Empire collided on the home turn.  Attack Plan checked off Kubla De Kahn entering the home straight.  Jaimandy Joyce crossed out and collided with Annaley Flash and Perfect Empire in the home straight, severely checking Annaley Flash, checking Perfect Empire and Jaimandy Joyce as a result.  Attack Plan checked off Kubla De Kahn in the home straight.

Annaley Flash was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right hind medial toe, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Crackerjack Des, the winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mrs Adele Powell, the trainer of Semantic Shift regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Semantic Shift last raced on 4th June 2018.Mrs Powell stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a spell.

A pre race sample was taken from Heoric Outlaw.

Merl's Blaze was quick to begin.  Latissimus Dorsi was slow to begin.  Heroic Outlaw, Further Dreamer and Semantic Shift collided soon after the start checking Heroic Outlaw and Further Dreamer.  Coconut Gloria checked off All Inn Taylor on the first turn.  Arlecchino and Semantic Shift collided on the first turn.  Semantic Shift and All Inn Taylor collided in the home straight.

Parish Power was quick to begin.  Quick Defence and Our China Plate were slow to begin.  Miss Bea and Becket collided approaching the first turn.  Dum Didee Dum and Our China Plate collided on the first turn checking Dum Didee Dum.  Quick Defence checked off Becket on the first turn checking Miss Bea which raced wide and lost ground.  Paris Power raced wide in the home straight.

Miss Bea was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr John Magnion (via telephone), the trainer of Become The Fuse regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Become The Fuse last raced on 25th May 2018.Mr Magnion stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a spell.

A pre race sample was taken from Tunisian.

Become The Fuse was slow to begin and lost ground soon after the start and took no competitive part in the event.  Bound Two Affair, Senni Richard and Tiggerlong Ring collided on the first turn checking Senni Richard.  Rocky Road and Petite Senorita collided in the home straight.

Become The Fuse was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right wrist and left back muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr.D.Eddy the representative of the greyhound Become The Fuse. Stewards deemed the performance of Become The Fuse unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Become The Fuse must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
