Shanlyn Georgie was a late scratching at 6:10pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to an abscess on the left front paw. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Ninja, Panadero King and Crackerjack Daza were slow to begin. Jack Get Back was quick to begin.

Vanda Mick and Dorrigo Bale collided soon after the start. Jack Get Back and Weeona Dino collided approaching the first turn. Aston Ninja and Vanda Mick collided heavily on the first turn. Dorrigo Bale galloped on the heels of Vanda Mick on the first turn checking Jack Get Back and Weeona Dino. Dorrigo Bale, Jack Get Back and Weeona Dino collided on the second turn. Jack Get Back and Weeona Dino collided heavily on the secod turn causing Weeona Dino to fall.

Weeona Dino was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left wrist sprain, a 14 day stand down was imposed.

Buzz Rash and Art Noveau collided soon after the start. Art Noveau and Captain Jackie collided on the first turn. Buzz Rash galloped on the heels of Captain Jackie shifted out and collided with Art Noveau on the second turn. Perfect Project and Tom Riddle collided on the third turn Captain Jackie checked off Art Noveau and collided with Captain Jackie on the third turn. Buzz Rash and Captain Jackie collided several times approaching the home straight.

Belt Up Bubbs and My Bro Regis were quick to begin.  Major Amor was slow to begin.

Alonso Mornay and Major Amor collided soon after the start.  Gehring Bale, My Bro Regis and Jaclyn Bale collided soon after the start checking Gehring Bale.  Dyna Terror and Apache Flame collided on the first turn.  Alonso Mornay and Jaclyn Bale collided on the first turn.  Major Amor and Gehring Bale collided on the first turn.  Alonso Mornay checked off Jaclyn Bale and collided with Dyna Terror on first turn checking Major Amor.  Major Amor brushed the running rail on the second turn.   Apache Flame checked off My Bro Regis on the second turn.  My Bro Regis and Apache Flame collided on the home turn.  

Major Amor was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left deltoid injury and left shoulder sorness, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Jaclyn Bale fell in the catching pen and was vetted.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left hind foot, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Soda Flash.

Empress Rose was slow to begin.

Empress Rose shifted out and raced wide through the second turn losing ground as a result.  Gateway To Eden checked off Soda Flash on the second turn.  Soda Flash checked off Gateway To Eden on the fourth turn.  Soda Flash stumbled and lost ground on the fifth turn.  Soda Flash faded over the concluding stages.

Soda Flash was disappointing and was vetted as a result. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left deltoid injury and left shoulder soreness, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards advised connectoins of Soda Flash to advise Stewards, as soon as practicable of anything that may have affected the running of this greyhound, in this event in accordance with GAR 75.

Federal Lily was quick to begin.

Mepunga Molly and Blue Striker collided approaching the first turn.  Tritt Tritt and Undisputed collided on the first turn.  Tritt Tritt checked off Blue Striker and collided heavily with Undisputed on the second turn checking Tritt Tritt and Undisputed.  Federal Lilly and Blue Striker collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Dyna Carmen and Light The Track were slow to begin.

Dyna Carmen stumbled shortly after the start and lost ground as a result. Dyna Chancer and Quest For Glory collided several times approaching the first turn. Hayley's Style, Winnie Allen, Blackjack Neo, Dyna Chancer and Quest For Glory collided on the first turn. Dyna Chancer and Quest For Glory collided on the first turn. Blackjack Neo, Dyna Chancer and Idabelle Bale collided heavily on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Hayley's Style, Light The Track and Quest For Glory collided on the first turn. Dyna Chancer galloped on the heels of Hayley's Style on the first turn; Hayley's Style fell as a result checking Quest for Glory. Winnie Allen checked off Blackjack Neo on the fourth turn.

Hayley's Style was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in left monkey muscle, left shoulder muscle and right deltoid a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Benali checked off Neo Cleo and collided with Barooga Brett in the back straight.  Duke Of Burnley faded in the home straight.

Blue Sky Riot railed and brushed the running rail on the first turn.  Alabar checked off Shanlyn Magic and collided heavily with Not Available on the second turn.  Striking Weetbix checked off Not Available on the third turn.  Not Available check off Blue Sky Riot and collided with Alabar approaching the home turn.  Alabar and Not Available collided on the home turn.  Blue Sky Riot shifted out, raced ungenerously and collided with Shanlyn Magic on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr Simon Smith, the kennel representative of Blue Sky Riot.  Stewards deemed the performance of Blue Sky Riot unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Blue Sky Riot must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
