Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Paul Grima, the kennel representative for Bombora Thunder, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Bombora Thunder last raced on 9 June, 2018 and is returning to racing following a left hock injury. Mr Grima also declared a new weight of 32.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Bombora Thunder last raced at 31.6kg.
A pre-race sample was taken from She's My Blast.
Eureka Osti was slow to begin.
Unexplainable and Superior Beam collided soon after the start. Eureka Osti, Forgotten Girl and Unexplainable collided at the 150m mark, checking Forgotten Girl. Taabi checked off Forgotten Girl approaching the winning post.
