Steward's Report
Mr. A. Farley, trainer of Falling In Love declared a new weight of 30.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Falling In Love last raced at 29.8kg.
Shoot To Miss was quick to begin. Galway Icon, Tat Ox and Jaimandy Tony were slow to begin. Kid Raider was very slow to begin (4L).
Shoot To Miss, All Inn Tyler and Jaimandy Tony collided soon after the start. Galway Icon contacted the running rail approaching the first turn and subsequently lost considerable ground. Tat Ox, Kid Raider and Falling In Love collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Jaimandy Tony and All Inn Tyler collided on the first turn.
Galway Icon was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the left shoulder and wrist and lacerations to the left fore toes, wrist and forearm. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.
