Stinging Red and Krystal Parade collided approaching the 200m mark, checking Krystal Parade. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left fibula, a 14-day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Stinging Red with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Mason pleaded guilty to the charge, Stinging Red was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Run Maggie Run was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a carpal sprain of the right wrist. A three-day veterinary stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Keith Kelly, the trainer of the greyhound Run Maggie Run, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at the 100m mark. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Run Maggie Run with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Kelly pleaded not guilty to the charge, Run Maggie Run was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Shot Of Spice crossed to the outside soon after the start. Monica's Joy checked off Akut at the 250m mark. All The Same checked off Alabama Lane approaching the 200m mark and crossed to the outside, checking Dawn Storm and What Feeling. Glacier Boy faltered at the 150m mark and lost considerable ground, checking All The Same. Dawn Storm marred Glacier Boy approaching the 100m mark.

Glacier Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left gastrocnemius (calf) and gluteals (hip) muscles. A 14-day stand down period was imposed.

Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Dawn Storm with marring. Mr Harding pleaded guilty to the charge, Dawn Storm was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Electric Hippy was slow to begin.

Rhiannon Royale, Anna Victorem and Aztec Warrior collided soon after the start. Liberal Jones and Rhiannon Royale collided at the 250m mark. Electric Hippy, Liberal Jones, Rhiannon Royale, Aztec Warrior and Anna Victorem collided at the 200m mark, checking Aztec Warrior and severely checking Electric Hippy, Liberal Jones and Rhiannon Royale.
