Pectoralis and Black Dash Three collided soon after the start. Inter Joe, Pectoralis and Black Dash Three collided several times from the 300m mark to the 200m mark. Inter Santina and Dyna Eren collided at the 250m mark. Inter Santina and Queen Lita collided at the 100m mark.

Middle Chic was a late scratching at 10:33am due to non arrival(GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr W. Robertson was advised that when he provides a RACV report to the stewards department the stand down period will be withdrawn and no futher penalty will be applied.

Valencia Gem was slow to begin. Don's Trouble and Daisy Me Diggin' collided soon after the start. Don's Trouble crossed to the outside soon after the start and raced wide throughout the event. Funkhouser and Valencia Gem collided at the 250m mark checking Valencia Gem. Don's Trouble and Funkhouser collided at the 150m mark severely checking Funkhouser which faltered and subsequently tailed off. 

Funkhouser was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Psycho Millie was a late scratching at 10:31am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr B. Wellington was fined the sum of $100.

Brayden Lennox was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained right monkey muscle and right groin injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Arashundi upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Stewards spoke to Ms A. Patten, the trainer of Amani regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Amani last raced on 20th May, 2018 and is returning from right wrist injury.

Arashundi and Cersei collided soon after the start.

Precious Metal crossed in soon after the start checking Mossy Oak. Cersei crossed to the rail at the 300m mark checking Arashundi, Manila Kampyon, Precious Metal, Mossy Oak and Amani. Arashundi checked off Early Express at the 300m mark. Mossy Oak and Cersei collided several times from the 300m mark to the 250m mark checking Mossy Oak. Amani and Precious Metal collided at the 250m mark and again at the 50m mark.

Royal Solo was slow to begin. Royal Solo and Rhomboid collided soon after the start. Rhomboid and Dashing Diamond collided approaching the 150m mark. Rhomboid raced wide at the 100m mark. Go Laverne Go checked off Rhomboid at the 50m mark and crossed in. Poise and Princess Marjen collided approaching the winning post.

Shirdale Casey and Midnight Tess were slow to begin. Bruree Boy and Midnight Tess collided soon after the start. Bruree Boy checked off Midnight Tess at the 100m mark.

Stewards spoke to Mr K. Chivell, the trainer of Girt By Sea regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Girt By Sea last raced on 17 June, 2018 and is returning to racing following an illness.

Krabi, Voluptuous Dot and Here's Tiger collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Voluptuous Dot and Renegade collided at the 250m mark checking both greyhounds. Amlin Miss galloped on Riverina Miss at the 250m mark checking Riverina Miss, Krabi and Here's Tiger. Voluptuous Dot and Renegade collided at the 200m mark. Voluptuous Dot raced wide at the 200m mark. Amlin Miss checked off Krabi at the 150m mark. 

Meeting Comments

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Ms M. Biggins, the trainer of Boopa Doop Girl regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Boopa Doop Girl last raced on 10th January, 2018 and is returning after a seasonal spell. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Boopa Doop Girl trialled over the 300m from box 1, weight 26.2kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 17.15, the greyhound won by a margin of 1.75 lengths. Boopa Doop Girl was Cleared.
