Steward's Report
Mr. Jai Willoughby was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration papers/registration card were produced for the greyhound Super Tokachi pursuant to GAR 33.
A pre race sample was taken from Serendipity Gold.
Stewards delayed the "All Clear" after judges inadvertently semaphored "1-6-2-3". This was corrected to "1-6-2-5" before the "All Clear" was given.
Oh So Rowdy and Calendar Boy were quick to begin. Super Tokachi and Piriformis were slow to begin.
Balance and Serendipity Gold collided several times soon after the start. Serendipity Gold checked off the heels of Super Tokachi approaching the first turn. Balance and Kirabilli Poppy collided on the first turn. Super Tokachi and Piriformis collided on the first turn. Miracles Happen and Super Tokachi collided on the first turn. Serendipity Gold, Super Tokachi and Piriformis collided heavily on the first turn checking all greyhounds. Super Tokachi and Piriformis collided approaching the home turn. Kirabilli Poppy checked off Miracles Happen in the home straight.
