A pre-race sample was taken from Kununurra Heals.
Crackerjack Tim and Eight Bells Toll were quick to begin. Eight Bells Toll checked off Crackerjack Tim soon after the start. All Inn Johnson, Eight Bells Toll and Tooralee collided on the first turn checking Tooralee.
Penberthy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right back and triangle muscles, 28 day stand down period was imposed.
