Sable Sass, Pattaya Paul and Kalani Amy were quick to begin. Vis Vitae was slow to begin. Kalani Amy raced wide on the first turn. Mo Dragon and Adam Mandam collided on the first turn. Markinch Maid and Vis Vitae collided on the third turn, checking Vis Vitae. Kalani Amy raced wide on the home turn.
Mo Dragon was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left foreleg lost dew claw injury, a five day stand down period was imposed.
