Steward's Report
Ruby's Image was quick to begin. Nash Road Betty, Double Que and Zipping Maisy were slow to begin. Shady Tex and Weeona Paul collided soon after the start causing Zipping Olympia and Shady Tex to collide. Double Que clipped the heels of Zipping Maisy approaching the first turn. Zipping Maisy, Jemma's Fantasy and Weeona Paul collided on the first turn checking Zipping Maisy and Double Que, severely checking Nash Road Betty and Jemma's Fantasy causing Nash Road Betty to stumble and lose ground as a result. Zipping Olympia and Shady Tex collided approaching the second turn. Ruby's Image checked off Weeona Paul entering the back straight causing Ruby's Image and Zipping Maisy to collide. Zipping Olympia checked off Shady Tex approaching the home turn.
Nash Road Betty was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
