A pre-race sample was taken from Canya Wilber.
Roland View was slow to begin. Dyna Winter and Nitronium collided soon after the start checking Dyna Winter. Dyna Winter and Nitronium collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Winter. Really Magic and Dyna Winter collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds and causing Roland View to gallop on the heels of Dyna Winter; Dyna Winter fell and Roland View lost considerable ground as a result. Nitronium checked off Let's Run approaching the home turn severely checking Nitronium and Tooka Half; Nitronium and Tooka Half raced wide as a result. Let's Run and Desiree Dancer collided on the home turn checking Let's Run.
Dyna Winter was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
