Blistering Betty was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained left foreleg deltoid and lattissimus dorsi/trapezius muscle and right hindleg hip muscle injuries, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Undenied Access, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Bula Bang Bang and Pretty Sensation were slow to begin.  Undenied Access, Shakey Coconut and Sunny's Kayo collided approaching the first turn.  Atomic Kitten, Pandaken and Slick Brew collided on the first turn, checking Pandaken and Slick Brew, and severely checking Atomic Kitten which lost ground as a result.  Shakey Coconut and Sunny's Kao collided entering the front straight.  Atomic Kitten raced wide in the front straight.  Sunny's Kayo checked off Undenied Access on the second turn.  Bula Bang Bang and Slick Brew collided in the home straight, checking Slick Brew.

Atomic Kitten was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right foreleg deltoid muscle injury, a seven day stand down period was imposed.

Pandaken was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hindleg foot laceration, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Pretty Sensation - the winner of the event.

Maximum Brew was slow to begin.  Miss Terindah and Sarah Smirnoff collided soon after the start.  Maximum Brew and Python Pride collided on the first turn.  Maximum Brew checked off Miss Terindah entering the back straight.

A sample was taken from Rocket Tears - winner of the event.

In The Shadows was slow to begin.  Zipping Oliver and Charlie Cockatoo collided approaching the first turn.  Primed Engine, Yoda, Zipping Oliver and Charlie Cockatoo collided on the first turn, checking Zipping Oliver, Charlie Cockatoo and Double Ya Back; Double Ya Back fell as a result.  In The Shadows and Zipping Oliver collided approaching the second turn.

Double Ya Back was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained left and right foreleg monkey, deltoid and trapezius muscle injuries, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

In The Shadows was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right foreleg carpal sprain injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr Ivan Chircop, the trainer of In The Shadows, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.

A sample was taken from Yoda - the winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr Alan Ferguson, the representative of My Name's Red, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  My Name's Red last raced on 1 April 2018.  Mr Ferguson stated that the greyhound was returning from a left wrist injury.  Mr Ferguson also declared a new weight of 31.1 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  My Name's Red last raced at 32.4 kgs.

Mr Uggboot was slow to begin.  Popowski checked off Mr Uggboot soon after the start.  My Name's Red and Miles Per Gallon collided on the second turn.  Miss Hanna Berry checked off Chill Out Chris in the back straight.  Mr Uggboot and Popowski collided approaching the third turn.  Mr Uggboot checked off My Name's Red approaching the home turn, checking Popowski.  Miss Hanna Berry checked off Mr Uggboot on the home turn.

Come On Colour, Quartz Vein and Kuta's Lad were slow to begin.  Come On Colour checked off Kuta's Lad approaching the second turn.

A sample was taken from Federal Agent - the winner of the event.

Benny's Entity was a late scratching at 7:59 am, due toillness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Tristan Cannon and My Name's David were slow to begin.  Weasley Grange and Gateway To Eden collided soon after the start.  Tristan Cannon and My Name's David collided approaching the first turn, checking My Name's David.  Weasley Grange and Tristan Cannon collided approaching the first turn, checking Tristan Cannon and Noaki Colour.  Tristan Cannon and He's Okay collided on the first turn, checking He's Okay and My Name's David.

Nimble Foot and Schatzie Armo were slow to begin.  Siamese Dream crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Double Que, Schatzie Armo and Nimble Foot.  Double Que checked off Miriam on the first turn, checking Siamese Dream and Schatzie Armo.  Silvio Dante raced wide in the home straight.  Siamese Dream veered in and marred Schatzie Armo approaching the winning post.

Siamese Dream was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hindleg torn nail, a seven day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr James Rudd, the handler of the greyhound Siamese Dream, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Siamese Dream with marring.  Mr Rudd pleaded guilty to the charge, Siamese Dream was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dyna Zad and Tiza Fabio collided approaching the first turn, on the first turn and again entering the front straight.  Mo Dragon checked off Tiza Fabio approaching the third turn.  Ratajkowski checked off Banjo Fever in the home straight.

Constance McMillan, representative of Urana Vee Eight declared a new weight of 25.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Urana Vee Eight last raced at 24.6kg.
