Stewards spoke to Ms. J. Sharp, the trainer of Charlott's Angel regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Charlott's Angel last raced on 6th April 2018. Ms. Sharp stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a spell.
Stewards spoke to Ms. J. Sharp the trainer of Manzeene Magic regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Manzeene Magic last raced on 16th March 2018. Ms. Sharp stated that the geryhound was resuming racing after a spell.
Charlott's Angel, Clovally Mansumi and Our Turbo Girl were quick to begin.
Manticore and Bushman's Billy were slow to begin.
Manzeene Magic checked off Our Turbo Girl soon after the start. Clovally Mansumi checked off Our Turbo Girl on the first turn. Charlott's Angle and Clovally Mansumi collided on the first turn. Blackpool Alexis and Manzeene Magic collided approaching the home turn.
Manzeene Man was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left wrist. No stand down period was imposed.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Whybrow, the trainer of Northern Moon regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Norther Moon last raced on 21st November 2017. Mr. Whybrow stated that the greyhound was resuming racing from a change of kennels. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Northern Moon trialled over the 390mt from box 1, weight 30.9kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.69, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4.5L. Northern Moon was cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Van Taarling, the trainer of Twilight Cathy regarding the length of time since the greyhound was named. Mr. Van Taarling stated that the greyhound was resuming racing from being seasonal and a toe injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Twilight Cathy trialled over the 390mt from box 3, weight 24.4kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.69, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 30.75L. Twilight Cathy was not cleared.
