Steward's Report
Out of Competition Samples were taken from King Brew, One Brew, My Boy Roman and Spritely Brew engaged in this event on 9th July 2018 pursuant to GAR 79A.
One Brew, My Boy Roman and Spritely Brew were quick to begin. Hard Man Chapta and Lacarbine were slow to begin.
My Boy Roman checked off King Brew approaching the first turn. One Brew, My Boy Roman, Spritely Brew and Hard Man Chapta collided on the first turn checking One Brew which collided with Miss Skye High. One Brew galloped on My Boy Roman checking One Brew which collided heavily with Miss Skye High approaching the home turn. Lacarabine raced wide on the home turn.
Stewards noted that the muzzle of Hard Man Chapta became dislodge during the event.
Miss Skye High was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a thoraco-lumbar injury, a 10 day stand down was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Spritely Brew - winner of the event.
