Umar Allen was a late scratching at 4:39 PM on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a split webbing to the left hind leg. A 14-day stand down period was imposed.
A pre race sample was taken from Kiss Me Nicki.
Aston Ninja, Monaro Joe and Kiss Me Putu collided approaching the first turn, checking Monaro Joe. Cruisy's Lil and Kiss Me Nicki collided on the first turn. Cruisy's Lil and Kiss Me Nicki collided approaching the home turn, checking Cruisy's Lil and Shep. Shep and Kiss Me Putu collided on the home turn, and again in the home straight.
