Hard Man Chapta was slow to begin.  Mashika checked off Quest Allen on the first turn, checking Way Things Are.  Way Things Are and Hard Man Chapta collided approaching the home turn, checking Way Things Are.

Tat Warby and Buddie's Al were slow to begin.  Tat Warby, Launch Time, Miss Travers and Jolimia collided on the first turn, checking Tat Warby and Jolimia, and severely checking Launch Time and Destini Exactor.  Tat Warby galloped on San Remo Lass on the home turn, checking Tat Warby.  Tat Warby and San Remo collided entering the home straight, causing Tat Warby to become unbalanced.  Buddie's Al raced wide in the home straight.

Jolimia was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right foreleg deltoid muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from All Inn Taylor - the winner of the event.

Mr Andrew Julian, handler of Fawn Regrets, declared a new weight of 31.9 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Fawn Regrets last raced at 33.3 kgs.

Tiger Tees was quick to begin.  Mahjong Heat and Moonquake collided soon after the start.  Mahjong Heat checked off Sudoku Buddha on the first turn.  Sudoku Buddah galloped on Hagrid Grange on the first turn, checking Hagrid Grange.  Tiger Tees and Moonquake collided several times in the home straight.  Short Leash checked off Moonquake in the home straight.  Sudoku Buddah checked off Moonquake approaching the winning post.

Raven Joe was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left foreleg wrist injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Phillip Clark, trainer of Mikey Wires, regarding the greyhound stepping up in distance in tonight's event.  Mr Clark advised Stewards that the greyhound had trialled to his satisfaction over 500m and 650m in the weeks leading up to tonight's event.  Stewards noted the explanation.

Stewards spoke to Ms Pia Triaca regarding the direction that the greyhound Bro Wizard be boxed first.  Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

Cut Snake and Lucky Paws were slow to begin.  Miss Oreo Mac checked off Our China Plate soon after the start.  Arlecchino galloped on Becket on the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Blackpool Ivy checked off Our China Plate on the first turn, checking Lucky Paws.  Cut Snake checked off Our China Plate approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr Tony Duncan, the trainer of All Inn Emma, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  All Inn Emma last raced on 20 December 2017.  Mr Duncan stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after being on season.  Mr Duncan also declared a new weight of 30.6 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  All Inn Emma last raced at 29.4 kgs.

Good Boy Oscar was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hindleg hock injury, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Subscapularis was slow to begin.  Red Winston and Subscapularis collided on the first turn.  Sunlit Breaker, Kraken Aye Kay and Blue Magnum collided on the first turn, checking Kraken Aye Kay and Blue Magnum.  Kraken Aye Kay and Little Dynamo collided on the first turn.  Kraken Aye Kay checked off Little Dynamo on the home turn.

Sonny's Tas was slow to begin.  Clovally Mansumi, Petite Senorita and Krazy Blaze collided soon after the start.  Bull Da Dash and Reality Thunder collided soon after the start.  Petite Senorita and Krazy Blaze collided approaching the first turn, checking Petite Senorita.  Micro Moo, Bull Da Dash and William Cabang collided approaching the first turn, checking Micro Moo.  Krazy Blaze raced wide on the home turn. Bull Da Dash eased approaching the hometurn. Bull Da Dash eased and shifted out approaching the winning post, colliding with William Cabang.

Stewards spoke to Mr Jason Stemmer, the trainer of the greyhound Bull Da Dash, regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn.  Bull Da Dash was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained shin soreness to the right hindleg, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the Stewards charged Bull Da Dash with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Stemmer pleaded guilty to the charge, Bull Da Dash was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
