Jaimandy Kropa and Cut Snake were slow to begin. Kraken Copper, Banjo's Power, San Remo Lass and Miss Travers collided approaching the first turn checking Kraken Copper and Miss Travers. Kraken Copper contacted the running rail as a result. Kraken Copper and Jaimandy Kropa collided approaching the first turn. Zipping Chief and Scarlett Zulu collided on the home turn.
Kraken Copper was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
