Pursuant to GAR 104(7) Steward Mr. P. Zucca did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Stir Fry Shrimp and Jacey Allen were slow to begin. Siver Lightning and Manhattan Man collided soon after the start checking Siver Lightning. Buzz Rash, Charlie Haze and Mr. Pendles collided approaching the first turn checking Charlie Haze. Walk Woody Walk, Buzz Rash and Mr. Pendles collided on the first turn. Stir Fry Shrimp, Manhattan Man, Charlie Haze and Jacey Allen collided on the first turn checking Manhattan Man. Walk Woody Walk and Buzz Rash collided on the second turn checking Buzz Rash. Siver Lightning and Jacey Allen collided on the third turn checking both greyhounds. Siver Lightning and Jacey Allen collided on the home turn checking Siver Lightning. Stir Fry Shrimp and Charlie Haze collided on the home turn causing Stir Fry Shrimp to race wide.
Manhattan Man was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 10, it was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Said the trainer of the greyhound Manhattan Man. Stewards deemed the performance of Manhattan Man unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71 Stewards directed that Manhattan Man must perform a satisfactory trial all tracks before any future nomination will be accepted.
