Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms S.Doust, the trainer of Hey Hey Fozz regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Hey Hey Fozz last raced on 20 November, 2017. Ms Doust stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a spell.
Stewards spoke to Ms C.Jackson, the trainer of Kamchatka Lass regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Kamchatka Lass last raced on 20 November, 2017. Ms Jackson stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a left metacarpal injury.
Man Down was slow to begin.
Hey Hey Fozz and Scoota Flash collided soon after the start checking Scoota Flash. Swiftly Swift, Hey Hey Fozz and Kamchatka Lass collided soon after the start checking Kamchatka Lass. Swiftly Swift and Scott Lucky collided on the first turn. Kamchatka Lass faltered on the first turn and lost ground. Swiftly Swift and Scott Lucky collided approaching the home turn checking Scott Lucky which collided with Hey Hey Fozz. Hey Hey Fozz and Man Down collided approaching the home turn checking Man Down. Scoota Flash and Injector collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight checking Scoota Flash.
Kamchatka Lass was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted forty minutes post race, it was reported that the greyhound sustained a right groin muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr C.Jackson, the trainer of Kamchatka Lass regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.
A sample was taken from Soeztoc, winner of the event.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Awesome Freckles trialled over the 425mt from box 8, weight 28.2kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.02, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 12L. Awesome Freckles was cleared.
