Scott Finesse was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a minor laceration to the right front paw and injuries to the right wrist and right monkey muscle. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Booming Zulus was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a minor laceration to the front left paw. No stand down period was imposed.

Proven Strudel shifted in soon after the start checking Blue Blitz. Winston Cruise and Warrion Warrior collided on the first turn. Proven Strudel checked off Warrion Warrior on the first turn checking Proven Strudel and Blue Blitz. Oshkosh Jay galloped on the heels of Proven Strudel approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Blue Blitz and Test Pilot collided on the home turn. Blue Blitz checked off Winston Cruise in the home straight and collided with Test Pilot.

Stewards spoke to Ms. C. Madigan, the representative of Rirtakki, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Rirtakki last raced on 17/11/17. Ms. Madigan stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left shoulder injury.

Mr. C. Mclennan was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration papers/registration card were produced for the greyhound Forever Cousins pursuant to GAR 33.

Rocky Road and Magic Buddie collided soon after the start. Alina Grand shifted in soon after the start checking Hard Luck Story, Gordette and Proven Chat. Proven Chat and Latifi Zeus collided on the first turn severely checking Latifi Zeus and checking Gordette and Magic Buddie. Magic Buddie and Latifi Zeus collided on the home turn. Alina Grand and Burning House collided in the home straight.

Latifi Zeus was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right front and back paws and right triangle. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.

All Inn Bluebell and All Inn Misshap were slow to begin. Go Seek Heidi checked off Madam Butterfly soon after the start checking All Inn Misshap. Zoom Out, Madam Butterfly and Lisa Marie collided on the first turn checking Madam Butterfly.

Samples were taken from Zoom Out, 1st placegetter; and Bad Apple, 2nd placegetter.

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Powerful Lomar engaged in this event on 6th March 2018 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Nangar Range and Poor Old Frank collided on the first turn. Right Now raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Faster Bolt was slow to begin. Another What shifted in soon after the start checking Cavatron, Barwell Boy, Burnout and Chief's Empire. Another What and Barwell Boy collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Burnout galloped on the heels of Another What on the first turn checking Burnout and severely checking Another What. Cavatron checked off Johnny Wishbone in the home straight.

Another What was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Dave's Girl trialled over the 390mt from box 2, weight 28.1kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.27, the greyhound won by a margin of 0.25L. Dave's Girl was Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Cowcher, the trainer of Uncle Bump regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Uncle Bump last raced on 10th August 2017. Mr. Cowcher stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from an extended spell . Pursuant to GAR 77A, Uncle Bump trialled over the 390mt from box 4, weight 33.5kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.27, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3.75L. Uncle Bump was cleared.

Mr. Cowcher stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from an extended spell. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Mr. Swan trialled over the 390mt from box 5, weight 33.5kg, the greyhound failed to finish in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.27, the greyhound was not cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Good Humour trialled over the 390mt from box 8, weight 35.8kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.27, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 0.25L. Good Humour was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial – Returning from retirement  - Mowgli trialled over the 390mt from box 1, weight 35.5kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.20, Mowgli was Not Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Iceni Skye trialled over the 390mt from box 3, weight 28.3kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.20, the greyhound won by a margin of 4.25L. Iceni Skye was Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Cowcher, the trainer of Molly's Money regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Molly's Money last raced on 11th August 2017. Mr. Cowcher stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from an extended spell. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Molly's Money trialled over the 390mt from box 6, weight 26.6kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.20, the greyhound  was beaten by a margin of 8.75L. Molly's Money was cleared.
