Lady Bystander and Lacarabine collided soon after the start checking Lacarabine. Wok Djay, Blackpool Flyer and Lady Bystander collided approaching the first turn checking Blackpool Flyer. Doran's Flame crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Lady Bystander, Lacarabine, Blackpool Flyer and Wok Djay. Doran's Flame and Wok Djay collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Ugo Girl race wide approaching the home turn. Wok Djay, Lacarabine and Lady Bystander collided approaching the home turn checking Lacarabine. Wok Djay and Lady Bystander collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.
Ugo Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right shoulder and right fibula injuries, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
